can the ECM be cleared or would it need replacing?
I think i'll just start by clearing some of this wire mess up. I should probably find a back up car for a little while as i probably wont get it all back together very quickly

i would judt check for codes, clear them and see what codes return. this will help narrow down the problem. if there anre no codes then it might be something else.

also make sure that the plug into the ECM / Computer is good and clean, use Di-Electric grease on the pins and make sure there is no corrosion.

So far I have pulled out old strobe lights and controller, an air horn regulator, and a PA speaker. All with dead end wires.
