Default 02 Superduty Wiring

My 02 Superduty trailer brake and directional lights do not work but I have parking lights. I have checked all my fuses and looked for relays but I have heard that there are unserviceable relays in the fuse panel that can go bad. Is there any truth to this??

You have checked all the fuses? Sounds like you may have an issue with the brake controler. Check and see if it has a fuse...

I did check all the fuses and I dont currently have a brake controller. I tried splicing in the brake and directional lights from my tail lights to the trailer connector but when I use the blinker and brake at the same time the blinker dosent work? Only when the trailers plugged in.
