im looking at a 02 powerstroke 4x4 excab auto guy needs to get rid of it wants very little money for it i drove it and when you mash the pedal to the floor it picks up a little and then seems to cut out he says it has a new lift pump on it and it got a diablo predator set on high someone stole his tuner and its stuck there

 

Was the truck warm? If its could the ebpv could be closed

 

no the truck was warm i was thinking it maybe running out of fuel but i dont know much about powerstrokes

 

When its running bad does it smoke out the pipe? Does it miss at an idle?

 

no the truck runs pretty good just cruising around but when u mash the pedal to the floor it falls over and dies u let of it comes back on
