Default Just bought a 7.3

Hey guys im new to the powerstrokes. I was wondering if anyone had any advice on building/modding, or things to watch for. Do i need additional lift pump, oil pump etc. I have been reading up some. An so far the plans for it are 4 inch turbo back, s&b intake, ts 6 pos tony wildman, gauges, torque convertor and valve body. Any addvice or oppinions on diff tuners, modding or Free mods would be greatly appreciated thanks

I would do the 6637 intake instead of the s&b. With just those mods you should be mine with no lift pump. HPOP depends what year is the truck?

definately do 6637 intake take the 200 bucks you will save and go with 5 inch exhaust let bigger pipe more flow... gauges you will have to ask around about. i have glow shifts and like them and others dont like them. for a chip there are many different ways to go. checkout all the vendors before you pick one. definately torque converter and valve body if you plan on working truck hard. hpop if it is obs a good way to go is with super duty hpop if your not goin nuts with the truck. be sure when you order the chip you are telling them exactly what you have done to the truck and what you plan on doing. so they can program the chip to exactly what you want

S&B is fine on the intake, 4" exhaust, TW or PHP chip, Gauges, and a Valve body... all you need for a reliable 300hp truck.

NO need for a 5" exhaust system, does NOTHING... outlet to the turbo is only 3.25" so...

why buy a s&b if you can do a 6637 for less than a 1/4 of the price
