i am not quite sure how that works out but i know of a few cases where the 90s powerstrokes get rediculusly good mileage

I think it has something to do with the fact that the "99" has less horsepower and torque than the "02".

On a F250. 7.3L with a eco superchip, bigger air-intake, suspension lowered, and a 4" Exhaust.. How many MPG do you think i can top. I was also wondering how the gears work since i dont really understand that.

I'm going to try to get it 2wd since it helps with gas, and the year im not sure yet.

also what is better Manuel or automatic? i was thinking of just getting it auto.

go manual. has more hp rating than auto. i have a manual personal truck with work done to it and my work truck is identical but auto and burns more fuel than mine does

Unless your looking for MAX mpg and are willing to drive like a gma, get a auto. They drive better, easier and in the long run will hold more HP once built then the manual.

Oh , supposably some kid in my school gets 25 mpg in a chevy pick up supposably he has a really good chip and the chip is tuned real good.
