People... Make sure when you are making milage claims you are not using the overhead... it is 100% worthless for this task.

Also, you must know how to proplerly hand calculate milage, if not your just throwing numbers out there.

I have been around and under these trucks for over 10 years now. A F-250, 350 standard cab 2wd will pull high teens low twentys under idea conditions...

A F-250 CC long box... sorry, not going to happen. mid to high teens is it.

On mine...

2001 7.3 Crew Cab, Long wheel Base, 2 Wheel Drive, Dually with Manual trans, all stock 145K miles....doesn't smoke (shift points about 2000rpm)

I get 15-17 MPG empty and about 11 pulling a 10K lb Camper at 65 MPH. Thats hand calculated!!!.

the MPG do not really change wether I'm on the interstate at 70mph or driving around town...still about the same.

My 02 350 4x4 3:73 rears SWD extended cab long box gets 15 city 18 highway. Now my 99 350 4X4 3:73 rears DWD Crew cab long box got 19 city and 25 highway. Figure that one out!
