You didnt clean the ports on the ECU with a scuff pad. It cleans all the silicon off where you plug the tuner in. Your truck wont start unless they are clean. Go take it apart and clean the ports where you plug the tuner in. It will solve the problem guranteed.

When you removed the chip did you have the keys in your hand and or the battery unhooked? If not you may have fried the PCM.

So you installed the chip, and it would not start. No WTS light nothing. Then you removed the chip and you get a WTS light but it will not start? Just trying to understand what your saying.

As was said above, try cleaning the PCM contacts better. But if it will not start now with the chip removed I would bet money you have cooked the pcm.

Auto might work, but it may not start due to some inputs not being there. I would bet you will need a new PCM.
