Couple things...

There is no "high sulfer" diesel anymore. Only low and ultra low. At this point there is very little low sulfer left but in a few places.

There is no differance from red and blue diesel other then the color, they come from the same tanks at the refinery and when loaded die is added to show off road to on road.

The 6.4's and anything with a DPF will "run" fine on the low sulfer stuff, its the filters that will plug and cause issues.

I'm not going to say I have never ran it, but I have also had my tanks dipped three times on the open road, and twice on the jobsite. IRS is who you will be paying, have fun with them...

A local small time excavator got caught with red in his dump truck while moving equipment. The legal fees where so staggering, he packed it in.

They need a warrent at that point. If I would have had a locking cap the IRS agent would not have checked my tank.

And ya know what? you'd be walking cause it would be impounded until it could be checked. And if guilty, you made matters a whole lot worse. I bet they wont use the same TLC to get that baby open either. We have brains, lets use them properly.
