Dieselsite sells a complete conversion kit, you need up pipes, collector Y, Turbo pedistal, Y pipe, intake manifolds... To do what? At best drop a 38r on there...

Save your money an get a H2e kit. They are complete with turbo and everything for about the same as you would spend converting.

yeah get a Garrett GTP38r its like 90hp over stock. Run big big big sticks, a Fass, cooling fans, a nicely custom tuned chip, ATS tranny, southbend clutches, water methanol, it will run nice and good for ya, along with blacking the highway out

A Garrett 38r will give you 10-20 hp over stock without the proper mods... You dont need coolin fans, and damn sure dont need an ATS tranny...

late 99 kit. Why is it only 10-20 without mods for the 38r on the website it looked like a 80hp increase on the dyno??

See the little astric * at the end of the dyno info... (with a high performance chip installed)...

The turbo itself will give you very little HP boost on its own.

IMHO its a waste to convert to the late style.

$1200 for that kit, then another $1500-$1800 for a 38r. You can get a complete H2e kit, including turbo for $2250

http://www.dieselsite.com/index.asp?...ROD&ProdID=322

That leaves you with a kit you can grow with, a turbo that can be modded, rebuilt, cheap, and with some simple mods that any T-4 turbo can be mounted too.
