could it possibly be a map sensor?? the only cps i could get was a gray one

 

Another gray one is fine, just the black ones are better...

Map sensor will not keep the truck from running. It reads normal air pressure anyway when at idle.

 

ok to everyone thanks so much for your help i fianlly found out my problem after all this stuff. the fuel filter housing where the fuel filter goes has a black stem that comes up through the middle, the button depresses down to let fuel go to injectors, it went down but never came back up, i took it off and the spring was bent bad.. i spent a whopping $1.12 for a new spring put it back together and it runs like a dream!! who knew!! now we all do thanks so much for everyones help

 

HELP!!!! sitting at red light and truck suddenly dies on me....when truning key half way, do not see the "wait to start" prompt like usual........also blowing fuses.......any ideas first time this has happened it's been a solid truck with no issues.....

 

make a new thread bud... you will get more help.... its the cigarette lighter/PCM fuse i bet... think its number 30? cant remember...

i have a 04 f250 sound like i am having the same problem i bought my truck last a week ago and it ran great i put an edge tuner on it and it started right up ran bad *** went to turn the truck off for like 10 min and when i tried to start it would not start just cranked and cranked about 4 hours later went back and cranked it about 10 times and it started drove it home parked it pluged it in and came out the next morning had to crank and crank it to get it to start when it did i drove to my shop noticed at idle had no oil pressure but when i gave it gas oil pressure was fine not it will not start and just cranks any ideas of what could be wrong i need my truck back yesterday thanks
