99-03 Powerstroke Upgrade Turbo
Hi everyone. There are a few variations out there and I'd like know some true experinces with them. The Garrett GT38R has no warrnaty for a lot of money. The BD version looks like it's lost the boost spring and has a vacuum. And what about Turbonetics?
Thanks,

Welcome. i Would Recommend Introducing Yourself In Diesel Bombers Initiation - Diesel Bombers Section. That Way Everyone Can Get To Know You.
Wav - I personally don't have any experience with either, but both the Garrett and Turbonetics both ahve their fans... seems like whether its one or the other that a person likes, they are die hard about the turbo. To be honest, I've heard more about the Turbonetics... Just search around.. I know CSIPSD knows quite a bit about turbo's and maybe he'll venture in here sometime soon
What are your HP goals? BD stole the design from PDR for there new drop in, I would go to PDR if your going that route.
PDR super GTP is good for about 400hp and 40psi, the 38r is good to about 450 and 40 psi... my TN BB is at 470, but is getting pulled soon for a Modded H2e...

hey csipsd what is a h2e??, ive been wondering the same with this guy, which turbo would be best...and to me either turbonetics or something, what would the difference be between all of those, they usually all say 33% more efficiency and that kind of stuff, im looking to hopefully get around 500hp or 600lbs tq
