Yes it does, the IPR is screwed into the back the hpop

 

ok so lets look at the chain that it takes to start one of these trucks what all has to be present for it to start

I know on an injection pump engine all you really need is the fuel shutoff solenoid to activate fuel pressure and compression and its running

so in a powerstroke what does it take to make it start this is a real learning curve for me and It might help out he one having problem

 

The hpop has to be putting out enough oil pressure to fire the injectors

 

How do u check to see if ur getting enough oil to your injectors from the hpop
