7.3 backfires!

Hey my 7.3 backfires when i rev it in park or neutral. like its really loud like a gas jobby. truck runs rough blue smoke any ideas? im thinking injectors are a good start

Yeah, have your injectors tested. Never heard of a backfiring diesel really. Keep us posted if you find something interesting.

yea either have your injeectors buzzed tested, But you may have a bad injector either leaking fuel and oil and causing it to stick.
