So threw the scanner on the truck today and got a code for low boost pressure. I got to looking and seen that the hose on the MAP sensor is just hanging there and is not hooked up. I looked for about 30 mins and couldnt find where it goes in? One forum said intake and other said base of turbo. Im not seein anywhere for it to go. Anyone know or if you have a picture that would be GREAT.

 

on the intake spider pipe, towards the bottom where it splits, should be a small nipple right there

 

Alright i looked there but ill check again. From the MAP sensor there is a hose leading to a small plastic hose... kindof like what you get with a can of WD-40.. is that what slides into the nipple or should it be a actual hose?

nevermind. the truck is new to me and its actually my first diesel. whoever had it before me and a 3 way splitter for i guess gauges or something. they had hose runnin from map sensor to the splitter then splitter to intake but the 3 one was open which was leaking air. So i got that code dropped now have 4 more to take of. haha
