Default possible chip issue?

Well i used to think it was ICP or IPR related but now i'm wondering if it's the chp. in cruise or not when you put a load on the engine it pulls like it should then when the load starts to decrease then it backs off and you have zero throttle response for about 5 seconds then it's fine. now it only does it when you're in a tune, but it won't do it stock. would this be the chip causing this? thanks guys

Hummm... When you say 0 response, meaning you can floor it and get nothing?

exactly. it won't do a thing. when it does this and the cruise is on, it backs of pretty hard then when it comes back on it picks up very hard. the ICP is new and i just replaced the IPR and that helped a little bit but not that much.

Almost sounds like a TPS sensor, but then it would not do it with the cruise on.

i thought it might be that to, but now i'm wondering if it's chip related since it won't do it stock, no matter how much the load on the engine is. i guess it's one of those things that you'd have to be there to know what it's doing. i'l see if i can email you a video of it.

When you say stock... Do you mean with the chip removed or in the stock setting?

Try removing the chip. Even with the chip in the stock setting, its still running off the chip.

ok. i'll try that. the only time it really does it is when i'm towing. you have to try really hard to get it to do it when you're empty.
