when you have it all tore down... MAKE SURE. to look at your outter axle shafts. if those bearings are to bad they will eat the race on the axle shaft. IF IT IS the bearing that rides on it. also note that the race on the axle shaft is RAISED not flush with the majority of the axle shaft. if it has gotten in to the outter axle shaft it might be a good idea as well to check the u-joints as well as axle seals... and one more thing. in severe cases if all the above has taken place you might be best to replace your lockouts as well...experience experience experience...... good luck bud hopefully you caught it soon enough.

please excuse my excessive use of the word "shaft" in the previous post. it was both necessary and sexual. happy wrentching!!!!
