it had a screen around the top section? that's a SD filter. yeah if you pull it out and it's brown, it needs replaced. water/ methanol injection is a good thing to keep your EGT's down, BUT, you can use to much and hydro- lock the engine. Joe, (CSIPSD) is the guy to talk to if you do this. I do not have this on mine but i really want it.

for well heck. the trucks in real good shape for the miles and considering I only paid 2500 bucks for it I feel I got a good deal considering I've looked on craigslist, autotrader, and many other places and there priced anywhere from 4 to 10000 with way more miles than mine. the guy that had it before me apparently didn't know poop about regular maintenance or something . I've come to notice they aren't cheap to keep up when stuff fails so maybe he just couldn't afford it! I put ball joints in the front top and bottom and I think I need new springs, these are sagging and making a popping sound when in a bind. what's some advice on what to do about that? its a totally pure street worthy truck that wont ever be offload so im thinking a 4 inch lift. I know a dana 60 would be the best bet but like I said its street worthy only and im gonna run street tires nothing to beat me to death and nothing extremely huge. maybe a 33 or 35 on my stock Alcoa wheels. there in good shape and shine like new when cleaned. o and do I really have to flip that switch at the fuel bowl to drain the bowl when changing my filter? wow what a mess! I wasn't figuring that much fuel would come out. Haha. thanks for the help tho guys!
