Default New diesel owner in North Texas

Test drove and settled on a price for my first diesel yesterday. 1993 Dodge D250 LE package extended cab. Typical of these the clearcoat is gone and the roof is covered in surface rust. It's a 2wd, 5spd, 5.9L Cummins. Cruse control, power windows, everything works. Has 202k on the clock. Owner a deleted all the fuse able links with a fuse block and diverted voltage and charging duties away from the computer to a regulator like the previous. All very cleanly done and professional looking. Really happy with those improvements. Any tip or advise as I start my diesel journey are welcome. Thanks, Matt from Denton Texas
