A few weeks ago i bought an 00 f350 quad cab drw. The truck had 305,000 miles on it and was owned by an older gentleman. The truck had a bad miss so I didn't feel to bad about the $4,000 purchase price . ( he was originally asking almost 7k) plus it already had an mbrp turbo back exhaust. So I brought the truck to my shop and almost immediately diagnosed a dead number one injector, leaking hpop lines, clogged ebps, leaking fuel bowl drain valve, cps, and an air filter that i could swear was OE So after a trip to my local ford dealer and a quick few hour or two i had one amazing rig. I have installed a TS-6 position chip and love this truck. Actually just got back from a trip hauling my friends 35 foot enclosed race car trailer through the smokey mountains. With a gvw of 21,000 I was simply amazed at how it pulled the hills, yes the chip was on the +100 setting but it still did a great job. This being my first ford i can truly say I regret every other truck i have bought previously. Another satisfied ford owner
Oh and i calculated 18.2mpg unloaded and 11-12mpg with the race car trailer both times speed at 70mph. This truck was 99% OE with the exception of the mbrp exhaust.
