I have a 97 f350 7.3 and herd about a way to get better fuel pressure and people told me I can go to a ford dealer and get something called a Cali kit? What is this and are they good. As I have a ts chip and just wanted a little better fuel pressure for my injectors

What is your fuel pressure now? Too much fuel pressure is as bad as too little... Want to be in that 60-70psi at idle...

More fuel pressure does not equal more mileage...

I herd the bb can jack your truck up? And idc bout milage I just want more fuel... Without buying a fast fuel system considering I had to put a brand new fuel pump in couple months ago. I herd it was called a Cali kit tho? And you can buy it at a ford dealer?

Yes they make some sort of spring kit thing... I have had a bb in mine for almost two years... My fuel pressure was about 40psi at idle and now right around 60psi at idle...

Like I said before... You need to actually check your fuel pressure as it is now... If you already have 55-60ish psi of fuel pressure, no need to do anything... You don't need any more than that.

If you just want to have more fuel pressure so you can say you do, you are being ignorant because you will be replacing fuel pumps often. Check it and move from there...

I have no idea how much because I still don't have gauges but I fell like when the chip is on and I'm cruising at about 1200-1500 rpm's my rpm's faintly flutter up and down and I feel like my power is kinda jumping around, but if I get on it it doesn't flatter at all just when it shifts up and I'm cruising (not on cruise) just driving 40 or so. Thought this mite have something to do with fuel pressure but idk tbh

There is a schrader valve on the side of the fuel bowl... A standard tire pressure gauge will give you an idea of fuel pressure... watch for the fuel to spray...

No I don't really give a crap bout the fuel pressure haha just feel like I'm not maybe getting anofe when I'm just daily driving, new fuel filter and fuel pump and the truck only has 136xxx miles on it so idk what it could be

Ok that sounds good. What else could cause a problem like that?
