How to tell if my hoop is going bad it is hard to start in the morning

 

what makes you think its the hpop? could just need some glow plugs or a relay

when you say hard start, do you mean long cranking time before it lites? could be an air leak in the fuel system, check the fuel bowl to make sure its full and no water(try the water drain) you can also pull the small plug (1/4"drive extention will fit) on the top of the hpop resevour and look in or use a piece of wire as a dipstick, oil should be no more that 1" from top of resevoir.
