Default 97 PS

Ok I have a friend with a small problem with his 97 250. He said it stalls when you let off the pedal or let it sit and idle for a cpl minutes. It will run like a scalded dog as long as your foot is on the pedal. Any suggestions

Thanks Tom

My truck, when it sits in park and idles for an extended period of time, tries dying when I go to put it in park. If I blip the throttle on the truck before I put it in drive, it wont stall.

check the throttle position switch and idle validation switch, both located on the throttle pedle.
