Default 1995 F250 Powerstroke conversion to 05-07 Superduty

Just wondering what would go into putting the front running gear under my F250. Would also be replacing rear but there is no change for the back between the years. Would love to keep the coil suspension as opposed to welding leaf spring perches on the front axle.

OBS rears are a sterling 10.25 then the SD's are a sterling 10.5.... you can measure it out and see if you would have to do any frmae modification. the OBS are a 8 on 6.5 pattern, the SD's are a 8 on 185mm or something like that. the SD's have unit bearings. why would you want those?

right now my truck has the TTB front end and im just looking for an easy way to go one ton. theres a wrecked 05 next to my house. I can get the axels, drive lines, 20 inch rims, and it has a 6 inch lift for dirt cheap. As far as i can tell the frames are the same. From what i can tell i would only need to drill a hole on the drivers side front in order to mount the shock setup. If I cant drill a hole in a certain spot its no biggie for me to weld leaf perches on the front and go old school. Main thing im concerned about is the location of the drop pitman on the new truck. looks to be in the same position but its a ford

well if you want a solic axle in the front. find a D60 from a OBS. th only thing you will need to drill for is sway bar brackets. if you'r lucky, the yokes will be the same and the lenghts will be pretty close to the same. now 95 to the 05- 07 SD is a different frame, take as many measurements as you can from every point you can. especially from the center of the axle. for the rear, the SD springas are longer.

I can replace both unit bearings on my SD for less than $400. I had the unfortunate pleasure of replacing all bearings and one spindle on my old '96 and cost just shy of 1K.
