Default 1997 Ford Powerstroke

My steel rear wheels wont come off the rear hub. I have been trying to pound it off and its still stuck. Dont Know what to do????

lay a 2x4 on the wheel and waylay it with a big hammer. you might need to spay some penetrating oil around the hub.

had this problem with my Rover.put the lugnuts back on but loose and try moving the truck back and forth to break the rim loose.

when remounting the rim use some anti seize on the drum surface to keep this from happening again.

Or if you are planning on getting new wheels you could heat the wheel a little which would cause it to expand, and should let it slide off.
