I have read of a couple people taking 97e4od putting them behind 94 idi, so let's say I do the zf5 with adapter what clutch would I use a dodge one?

you won't just get the correct bell housing. the bell housing is all one part with the rest of the case.

Well I found an adapter from fordcummins that bolts to the motor for zf 5 that lets me run dodge clutch and starter and custom pilot bearing

so with the clutch. what about the trans input shaft? or do you do a dodge pressure plate and a ford disc?

i called the place that makes these adapters and they said you buy this adpater use our pilot bearing runs dodge fly wheel starter and clutch it will be ready to bolt up, i just dont know what slave cylinder now, when i was going to use the nv4500 i was told a jeep one from a 4.0 is the best anyone know what the best one is to use

I used the stock ford zf master and slave. I had some problems at first because of the way it goes together. Do not by the clutch that ford cummins sells It is pure junk. i smoked the one they said was good for 400 horse with just my fuel plate out. Deciede what you want to do with the truck and buy a big enough clutch now. You'll thank your self later.

I been trying to figure out my fuel system for the cummins swap. I've read all over the internet the 97 obs psd does not has electric tank pumps, it only has the mechanism. Lift pump, is this true? I thought the switch for front and rear tank turned on different pump. So is that. Pump looking thing next to the front tank in frame rail, is it just an electronic valve?
