did the 7.3 in it blow up? What is your reasoning for putting a cummins in it?

Ps? Don't know much abbreviations but I had a dodge cumins but like this obs body style so thought I would try out powerstroke don't like it and spends for mods to much crammed into engine bay I miss my cumins so im going to combined them. Anyone know the easiest 5 speed tyranny to put behind it ?

PS- powerstroke. well we all have our opinions on engines, but you better lower your standards so you get disappointed

PS= Powerstroke. and iv heard of people using the ZF5 or ZF6 but i think the most simple one to use is the NV4500.

IMO i would keep the 7.3 unless you are trying to get 800-900 HP then do the cummins but i dont see any need for that much HP unless you are into serious compition events

it will not just drop in. i'd use NV4500 or the 5600. and dodge t case. so then you just need a custom drive line.

the cummins swap is really easy to do go get the adaptor for the 5.9 to the ford zf 5-speed that will bolt to your tcase you need to make mounts or buy them all of that can be found at ford-cummins.com the adaptor is 600 and mounts are 279 use the ford 7.3 radiator and the dodge intercooler youll need to move the trans back 2 1/2 inches and everything else is cake i have done four of the same conversions myself including the two that that i own

Ok what if I was to use the nv4500 to save money on adapter

i mean like if i found an nv4500 would it be just as easy? i found a zf5 for 500 bucks but it was from a 460 is that the same gear ratios and bolt pattern or is the diesel different
