Default Steering Column

Any good ways to check the Clock Spring in the steering wheel? My cruise, horn, and High Low beems wont work. When you pull the blinker handle back nothing happens, but forward the highs come on.. I am stumped....

ok. grab the back of the steering wheel cover at the top and pull on it, it just pops off. see if the plug is connected. then pull off the plastic trim around the column and check the wiring there. the turn signal switch might be on it's way out.

Haha sorry it has been so late getting back, but it is pugged in and i took a light to it and is there any power supposed to be getting to the connector right insied the steering wheel cover? It is grounded just the other two posts have no power to either one. I am not sure how the wiring works on this????

one wire should be power. one gas to be power. i believe it's the center wire that goes to the horn. it's a pain to get to but behind the steering wheel is 3 terminals that go to a circular plate with plastic dividers. (that's the best i can describe it.) one of the terminals might be worn down or broke or something. it has been about a year since i had to work on a OBS. i need my 94 out here so i can give better information!

Finally got a test light to it.. (cant do much hurt shoulder) but there is no power getting to the connector, pre coulmn. So my question is witch wire is supposed to be hot, and where do the wires lead? Is it ran VIA PCM or fuse box? couldnt get any wiring diagrams from the dealership. So someone with an obs help me out and take a test light to the connector inside the steering wheel cover and tell me witch one is hot.

So after frying my PCM and replacing it MY HORN WORKED. I thought awesome, now my cruise will work, go out on the highway try my cruise and now the horn wont work again. I am thinking there is a short that is frying or unflashing that part of the PCM..... WOW!!!! Also turn signal was fine. Replaced it and the flash to pass lights (pull back on blinker switch) still dont work.
