Default injector related problem.

I just replaced all 8 injectors on my 94 PSD. It's running better than ever except the driver side up- pipe going to the turbo is drenched in oil and it apears to be coming from the "y" pipe on the exhaust side of the turbo. Why is there oil coming out here?

doesnt sound like an injector problem, your turbo pedestal might be leaking oil (doubtful) or if the oil is coming from the exhaust i think it could be blowby or a bad seal somewhere, just a guess.

Did you install new injector O rings? Did you drain the oil rails befor pulling the injectors?

From the sounds of your post it is oil coming thru the exhaust due to the injector change out.

If its running fine, drive it for a bit and see if it stops. It can take a few miles to burn it out.

yes i did. brand new motorcraft. that's what i was thinking. I just thought it was pretty ironic that it was leaking oil after doing the injector work. it seems to have stopped now. i think a little bit of oil might have gotten pushed up into the valves.

Oil out the exhaust after injector change is normal, but it shoudln't happen for long.

but it should be out the tail pipe.
