Default Why not SCT X3?

Would this be a good programmer? Its got custom tunes on it from a guy named Tadd. Figured this would work good as you can still clear trouble codes, engine light, etc..

go with the TS style, that way you have the ability to switch tunes on the fly. with the SCT it takes about 10 minutes to change the setting.

Tadd makes some sick tunes for the 7.3... I ran his stuff for a VERY long time with no issues, and my wifes Excursion is still running it.

It only takes about 3-5 minutes to change settings on a 7.3...

It gives you more room to grow then a SCT, are you looking for something new or is this something used?

The one I found is new. I was just looking at it sence it has custom tunes on it, can clear trouble codes, check engine light, etc.. over just a 6 pos custom tuned chip.

Also im not worried about ont he fly switching, as if I need a different tune, it'll be before I start driving or before I shut it off.

Honestly, a chip is the way to go... You will find it many times that you WILL want to change settings quite often.

You can get Auto Enginuity which is a complete scaning program and that would be 100 times better then a SCT...

Check out Power Hungry Performance if your dead set on a programer of some kind. His Griphon is a ton better then the SCT...

They are a sponser of the forum, check up in the sponser section.

Im not that big on computer/programming to do all that, im not looking to make crazy power, just more over stock for towing and daily driving.

I don't think I would change it that much, as id have it on one setting that im happy with, or change it ever so often to change things up ever now and agian while driving.
