there is currently a recall for the 7.3 cmp (Camshaft Position Sensor) and yes all those symptoms your truck has can and are most likely related to the recall. Go to the ford dealer, tell them about the recall. It should be free if your truck qualifies. The recall ID number is: 07s57 tell them to search the FSA's.

I have the same problem with a 1998 E350 but its not the cam sensor. I will drive for about 15 min and then you can feel the power falling off. Then it stops.
