I have a diesel leak that I can not find. I just replaced the fuel bowl drain valve and it continues to leak and is ending up inside the passenger side front fender well and all down the side of my truck. I have looked and searched for hours with truck running and off and can not find ANYTHING. Getting frustrated! 2003 F-250 7.3 Powerstroke. Can someone please help?

I had a similar leak that I could not locate either. After many conversations and hours of searching, I found that there was a steel line from the lower bowl area that ran down under the turbo breather line on the passenger sider of the block. After removing this pipe, I exposed the steel line and found that there was a "hold down" bracket for the line that had worn a pinhole in the steel line. Because the bracket "diffused" the spray, I could not see where it was leaking so badly from! Major fuel on the ground!! Truck had to be running though. Steel line cost around $60.00 from the stealership, only took a couple of hours to change out. Maybe you could have it welded if you know somebody. The fitting near the bowl was easy, the other end of the line is right up against the firewall and screws up into the block. not easy to get to, and must do it blind folded!

And a new fuel filter should come with a new cap, at least mine do.
