Default wheel well rust

My 97 F250 diesel is rusting at the wheel wells. I have heard this is common. What's a good way to take care of this and not have it come back? I don't want to replace the whole bed. The truck is for work and I want it to look nice. Thanks!

you might look at this product and see if your interested in it and you might clean it up real good and go to your parts store and see if the have that spray in bedliner comes in a aerosol type spray can and see if you can make it work http://www.eastwood.com/specialty-co.../bedliner.html

Try cleaning up the rusting area as best as you can then apply POR15 to it. End of issue. Just note that POR15 isn't all that stable to UV so you'll have to apply a finish coat of matching vehicle color over it if on the outside. I've used this product with great success.

LMC sells bed sides..or you can patch it...not sure there is a fix i patched my old '90 f350 and in 2 yrs was starting to rust again, its just a common area for fords since the salt gets trapped on that back lip
