HP limit on stock transmission
My original e4od lasted quite a while stock. Then I added just a chip and it still went for a while. It also had 120K miles at that time. When it did go i bought a ford reman. Lasted a week past warranty. Then, for about the same price as a reman, I had a custom rebuild from Goerend Bros. Lifetime gaurantee on tranny and 100K mile on t.c.
If and when yours does give out, be sure to get a heavy duty upgraded rebuild from a reputable shop.

i believe u got the warranty backwards, its 100k on tranny and lifetime on the TC
now for over stock, with a somewhat fresh tranny, i would have to say 50-100 at the wheels, should hold you two -three years, then drop a bts tranny into it
the 7.3 is the best out of the fords the 6.0 are the worst. i would only own a cummins best engine out there. they make engines for everthing. i always tell people i never seen a big rig with a powerstroke or duaramax but every other big rig going down the high way has a cummins

i have seen countless school busses, trash trucks with 7.3s in them and i have also seen busses and big box trucks with 6.0s and 6.4s
T444E=7.3l
VT365=6.0l
MAXXFORCE 7=6.4l

I had 120,000 on a remand tranny. Shifted fine before i put a ts on it, then about 2 months later it was screwed!
And 37's on a leveled truck? i put 285/70/17's on my 97 and it rubbed the bumper bad.
And I've also seen a couple of log loaders with 6.0's in them.
