Strong smell of diesel.
It smokes a lot more now that its cold around here, but stops when she warms up.
Engine isnt warm enough to burn fuel completely at first start of the day?

check for leaks if there isnt any leaks you may need new injectors, but the smallest of fuel leaks will give you white smoke after a motor sits for a few hours or over night

initial start-up should smoke white briefly, heated fuel from glow plugs, passing not fully burned, hence white smoke.

ALMOST AS IF SNOOP DOGG TOOK A YANK OFF A BIGAZZ DOOB-A-PUFF DOOBIE AND BLEW IT OUT THE TAIL PIPE FOR 5 MINUTES. im not trying to be a know it all but he should figure it out hopefully soon. i would if it was my truck. good luck to you psd

When I read the first post, I initially thought of bad injector o-rings. When I saw the post that the exhaust smelled like fuel, I thought leaking injectors.

how many miles???? i would bet money its injector o-rings

all the ones i seen with bad cups had the cooling system filled with diesel, more pressure in the fuel system than the cooling.

I know this is an older post. Just that years ago I owned a 1997 PSD 7.3 that did the same thing. It turned out to be bad glow plug harness.

Is this more like a white haze that disappears? Does water come out of the end pipe at the same time? if YES then it's normal. If it has a blue tint to it it's not normal. Does the truck do anything else that doesn't seem normal?
