Default putting 1999 7.3 in my 1997

Hi guys will this be a simple swap or will I have problems with injector wiring harness my 97 is the old style 2 connectors per valve cover . Of course 99 has single conector so will 99 harness plug and play into 97 harness at firewall
Other thing will 99 dash fit into 97 cab

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

Reason I ask about dash is if I have to change wiring harness in cab to make everything plug and play

Just swap your gaskets, no reason why you can't. Not sure about the dash but I'm guessing no

Then buy new valve cover gaskets, I dont think you can run the harness or gaskets from a 99 on a 97

nope your right the reason body is different is 99 is a super duty that's why body and dash won't work
