Well my friends subaru wrx turbo has the intercooler going in after the turbo so cold has gets in the intake. A turbo heats the air forced in so much he doesnt see how the truck makes any power which i dont understand also. Plus i feel like im having fuel lag when i accelerate untill 1900rpms (when the turbo kicks in) even then it doesnt feel like the turbo pushes at times till about 2200. Im wondering if i have a wastegate or blowoff valve stuck open?..or if the turbos going bad which i hope not...

A wrx and a powerstoke are totally different engines. You will not notice not having a IC until your pushing a lot of air.

There is no wastegate or blow off valve on an obs. The reason your turbo comes on so late is the large turbine housing. You stop feeling it pull hard up top is because the obs has tiny injectors

Not if you drive it smartly. If you drive in a smoke tune with your foot in it all the then it could.
