I thought it was a great truck as well. Mine is straight stock, it had 59,000km didn't even put 2000km on and the piston rod shattered and destroyed the engine. Luckily under warranty but this experience has made me question these trucks. I had an 09 6.4 and that thing could go through hell and back

A buddy of mine has a stock 2012 f-450 flat bed hauls parts and equipment daily for caterpiller his truck was bought brand new and around 40,000 miles the engine went completly out and had to replace it. he is around 60k now and he is having some little fuel promblem with it now. they arent to impressed with it compared to their 2005 duramax they use also. but then my other friend has a 2011 f-350 complete emissions delete and hasnt had any promblems out of it except the tranny, he just uses it as a daily vehcile. It seems like the 6.7 is built for apperance and not for work.

I had a 2011 Ford F350 6.7 and had a horrible trans shudder and turbo surge. I also had a door seal leak the dealer could not fix. I now have a 2012 Ram and love it.

Default 6.7 powerstrokes are the worst diesel ever

The 6.0 and 6.4 had problems with head gaskets oil coolers and EGRs but these 6.7 engines grenades...They are braking connecting rods and crankshafts...I respect you die hard Ford guys but stay away from the 6.7 unless you like spending $17000 for a new engine...My sons best friend is a mechanic here in Maryland at KOONS FORD and he told me he is making huge amount of money installing new engines in 2011-2013 trucks...He alone is doing 2 per week...If you want proof of my statements here, call your local For dealer and try to get a Ford remanufactured 6.7 you can't buy one...Also call an insurance company ask what the price is for an extended service policy on a 2011 F250 6.7 and compare that price to its two diesel pick up competitors...The ford price is twice the cost of a Duramax and three times that of a Cummins...I hope that those of you that have bought a 6.7s don't have any problems but if I were you I'd be very concerned...
