6.7 powerstroke power levels
I think with the new 6.7 that issue will be corrected soon...
Because powerstroke is a more light duty automotive/ light truck engine built for ford by international. They prolly use cummins in their big truck because its cheaper than tooling for building large engines and such imo.
at boces we have a 6.0 in our IH dump truck too so its probably a financial decision by ford. they are a smart company that has beaten the recession and with the 6.7 i would not be surprised to see that going into the heavier trucks. that is also a smart financial move they'd make
All i know is 400 horse or not im not impressed i drove one and bought a dodge..Some guy had one the other day and lined up against me at a red light and was power breaking and spinning his tires i gave him a little smirk and when the light turned green a completely ran off and left his ***..i have a 2008 dodge with all the deletes the programmer was on stock im trying to get good milage and i have a 5 inch flo pro TBE it was no where near close.
Lets see hear, you drove a new 2011 ford and bought a 2008 dodge and not a 2010 dodge. You still have mods, and he was turning at that light. I have a 2011 and have not found a stock truck that can run with it.

Sounds like the Ford guy either lost traction and couldn't put it to the ground or your programmer wasn't actually on stock.
