Default First Test Drive

i took a test drive in one at a dealership by my house and figured id throw down my ideas.

the truck is really nice inside (the one i drove was a larriat with sunroof back up camera and built in gps and some other things that i forgot)

i only got to drive it for 10 or so miles but i was really impressed...the engine makes less noise than the 6.4

the gauges have moved around a little (alot different than the 6.0) it has tac on the left and speedo on the right. boost temps and fuel up top. the center has a digital screen that has alot of options. you can watch the oil and trans temp on digital gauges. you can watch your angles forward backward left and right for when your off roading. you can also watch the angle that you have your steeringwheel turned. there are alot of other bells and whistles that i just cant remember cause im a little overwhelmed at what all this truck has.

when it comes to the engine the truck is supper peppy. its got almost 0 turbo lag. from a dead stop at a light i almost spun the tires on a launch with no wrap up.

i never got to put the thing into 4x4 but i assume it will be the same.

first impressions on my end are good but im concerned about the new urea injection and the emissions standards. also the price tag is steep to say the least

it sounds like a nice rig and lots of goodies the more goodies the more something can go wrong but the urea and emissions thing somebody always comes up with a way to delete or improve the price like you said and what i've heard thats the part

The urea, dpf, and egr's have all been deleted already boys. Spartan is on top of it, as well as a few others (KEM for one...).

There are some pics of a king ranch that Abrannan19 bought, he posted them up on PSN. The truck is gorgeous.

He ran it at the track already too, I believe something like 16 flat in the 1/4 for a CC LB, not sure if he was boosting on the launch or not, but I want to say no.

My thoughts exactly. The sound and smell are 2 of my favorite things about diesels. Although, I'll admit the sound is rather a pain at drive up windows at the bank and fast food joints but other than that, I love it.
