6.4 or 6.7 what to do?????
I would wait. We have 3, 6.4's and they are not reliable. Multiple rad changes, thermostats, coolant tee faults, big time power loss issues when towing our 43ft trailers,EGR and exhaust cleaning feature nightmares, injector tip failures. I could go on but I'm glad ours are still under warranty and most work has been done for free. Once the warranty is up bring cash and lots of it.
Where do you drain the water out of the fuel and do you need to still do this stuff if you have a tuner and dpf delete? I thought the 5000 mile oil changes were because of the fuel getting into the oil caused by the regen cycle!
REGEN will pour fuel into the oil
SO change your oil no later than 5,000 miles
got a buddy in Orlando with the 6.4 that he drags - he's very happy with it... comes stock with lots of power and speed... like stated, run the tuner and exhaust and your good to go...
I recently purchased a 6.4 and I love it this makes the second powerstroke I have owned I had the awesome 7.3 but good luck finding one of those these days that's under a hundred thousand miles I had some trouble with the stupid water in fuel light turned out to be a bad sensor imagine that the only down fall I have with mine is the emissions bs but in the process of kicking it to the curb I average around 12 mpg with a small horse trailer or putting around town I am young so it gets drove like I stole it love the 6.4
