6.4 or 6.7 what to do?????

Love my 2010 6.4 so far, it has plenty of power.
My father in laws business will only buy Fords, I asked why and he said Chevy's have too many little things that break and the Dodges trannys dont hold up. So there ya go.
The only gripe I have is the MPG numbers. Almost makes me want to trade my new 2010
for a 2011.
I bought the 2010 because I got a great deal.

I would wait. We have 3, 6.4's and they are not reliable. Multiple rad changes, thermostats, coolant tee faults, big time power loss issues when towing our 43ft trailers,EGR and exhaust cleaning feature nightmares, injector tip failures. I could go on but I'm glad ours are still under warranty and most work has been done for free. Once the warranty is up bring cash and lots of it.

For what it's worth my 2011 F450 6.7 has 13K on it now. Mileage is better than my friend's 2008 6.4 pulling comparable loads but the DEF consumption goes up when pulling loads, particularly into strong headwinds. I still wish it had a new 7.3. My '98 E350 extended 1 ton has 414K and is going stong and still getting 18.5mpg with no trailer.
