Me too -- his mileage is crazy for a dually! I can't wait to see what the latest does (especially seeing how it ran at the meet in AZ last year with the first step in DPF removal and tuner done)

I'm sure it won't be long and someone will figure out how to dump the DPF and cat , then the milage will get better. I work with a guy that gets 13 with his bone stock @ 10k miles.

Julian HAS dumped the Cat's and DPF (more cats in the DP though) and is working to get regen dropped (if they haven't already) and is getting 23 MPG on the hwy

Yeah you can say that again.....its not a secret about my mods....I'm not like some other people I've ran into on other forums....I just haven't had the chance to mess with my sig a whole lot...

My Dad owns a Moving Company and he picked up a 08 F-450 with 4.88's about 7 months ago. It has 60K miles on it now and has had a few problems.

The rear end started making noise about 25K miles. The dealer replaced the rear end from a truck on the lot.

An oil leak popped up at about 35K miles and the dealer had to replace the timing cover. They said it was cracked. They also replaced the Radiator when it was in the shop due to the recall.

Overall he loves the truck. It pulls like a train and rides great. Hopefully all the problems are behind us....

hey fellers, its been a while since i have posted here, i have an 08 F-350 with the 6.4 so far i like it...it has way more power than the 6.0 and starts great in the cold, as far as economy the best i have seen on the computer is 15, but the avg as i hand calculate is about 12-13 which isnt bad considering the fact that i keep my foot in it and it has a lot of weight on it, since it is a service truck with a flatbed loaded with tool boxes, parts and a miller bobcat generator welder.

whats this recall on the radiator all about, do i need to go to the dealer and see if i need some work done?

There was something wrong with the Job 1 trucks radiators leaking. Some have had them leak, some havent, but enough had a leak that they put out a recal for it.
