damn well after orgainizing all my parts that i just picked up from the local ford dealership i realized the guy charged me for the turbo oil drain tube but didnt give it to me... not only does this suck because they are closed tomorrow and the 1st and there is no way im holding off on this till mon its getting done TONIGHT so help me god but on top of that its gonna be pretty hard to tell the dealer "hey 3 days ago i bought a part and didnt get it so being as i did the job and said screw it i just want my money for it..."

good news is i got the up and down pipes off so thats good now the only thing holding me back is the back bolt which i cant find for the life of me hence me being on the comp looking for it

Call the dealership now and just leave a message on their machine, that way they know.

It's ok, it's not the end of the world, the drain really isn't that big of a deal anyways. You could always swap it in some other time. It will be MUCH easier taking the turbo out a second time, now you'll know exactly what needs to be done and what tools are needed.

funny you say that i actually just called and left them a message haha still wish i could find a pic of where this last turbo bolt is though...

Never mind I found the 3rd bolt... Boy this is gonna be the biggest challange thus far... I think muah cab sits lower than most as weird as it sounds cause I have no idea how u can get a wrench behind it and if this one strips out I'm bolting everything back up and selling the truck cause there woukd be no trick in the world to get this one out I'm gonna soak it in pb blaster for an hour re applying more every 10 min or so

on the turbo or the pedestal, also I am confused when you said you stipped a nut while trying to remove turbo, or did you mean bolt. the last bolt I am assuming is the one on the back, you have to use a socket with a 10" extention to get it, its hard to see but you have to put the socket over top of the exhaust output of turbo and the bolt sits straight up and down. You have to look under the ex. output while trying to get the socket on it. I sent you my number so text me if you can and I will send you a pic of it

ther is a tab that is on the part that the ypipe hooks to, that is where the bolt is, its under the pipe

well made a ton of progress got the hpop in cover on all o rings installed putting on the intake manifold and noticed one of the fuel injectors was snapped.... fml... then said hell with it and moved on to putting every thing back together and then lost the clip some where in the engine to the other fuel injector... i gave up for tonight... this has been the worst job ive ever done on any truck in my life... ive replaced transmissions ive rebuilt 3 engines ive replaced a rear end and have done about every other part in between never have i ran into this many issues... hopefully with the little thats left i can get it going tomorrow i dont know what im gonna do about that broken injector though unless its the glow plug but i doubt it

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

ya it is the fuel injector clip that broke on the fuel injector its self... in order to replace just that tip do i have to remove the valve cover please say no...

It's not that much work to pop the valve cover off. You will have to do that to take the electrical part of the injector off though. I'm not sure you can buy just that piece though, probably better off trying to buy a used injector somewhere. Take a picture of this please, I've never seen one do that...
