Looks like I missed all the fun, what happened? haha
Brondondolon - I would plan on it yes, it's really not that much more work. Just have to take the alternator off the front, and the intake manifold just unbolts. The gaskets are supposed to be reusable, but depending on mileage and if they've ever been touched, I would probably plan on getting a set anyways, they're not too much $.
The difference between the 03 intake manifold and the newer ones is the 03 has a piece in the back behind the turbo that connects each side, like a big oval. The later one's are just a U shape, and don't have that connection piece in the back.
The one on the left is the 03 intake manifold, and you can also see the round style 03 egr cooler, compared to a newer intake manifold with a newer square cooler.

Well round two is about to begin. Just got my nut extractor for the stripped turbo bolt however I can't find the 3rd bolt am I missing something or is there only 2 bolts?
---AutoMerged DoublePost---
well i dont believe this guys... so i broke the back screw loose and felt a sense of victory for over coming this nut from hell... but it prevailed as the victor... at first it was coming out then it started getting pretty hard to remove and eventually stripped out my nut extractor... i dont know what im gonna do at this point i have to go back to the hardware store and get a new bolt extractor this screw can go back to hell for all i care
---AutoMerged DoublePost---
well used 3 different style nut extractors to no avail now the nut is completely round... i dont know what im gonna do now because i gotta drill it out fml...
---AutoMerged DoublePost---
i wonder if i JB weld a socket onto the screw if it will have enough strength to pull it out
---AutoMerged DoublePost---
HA HAAAAAA!!!!! well boys.... i got it off. boo ya!!! how i did it: i took a craftsman screw extractor size 17mm and instead of trying to torque it off by the head i torqued it off by the washer that is attached to it and it came riiiiight out pretty clever idea but unfortunately i cant take the credit i found a video that suggested i did that ill link it and ill also link some pics of the screw in a bit. for now im back to the truck its 12:22 am and im gonna burn some midnight oil but ill prob be back in about 30 min with a problem trying to get the back screw off haha wish me luck
---AutoMerged DoublePost---
well like i said... 30 min later and im back here... im not using air tools because i dont have them so go figure the only way the up pipe clamp can be removed is with a pneumatic ratchet... fml

---AutoMerged DoublePost---
actually while im at it is there anything else im gonna need? i want this truck done tomorrow so i dont want to run into a prob at like 9pm and find out i need another part
so far i have
HPOP
ICP
red lock tight
black gasket sealant
HPOP update kit 4C3Z-9B246-F
as im looking at my pump and the upgrade kit i think i F***ED up the only thing i think i could possibly utilitize in the kit is the ipr filter and o rings... but at 73 dollars i dont think its worth it to keep it
is there a gasket for the turbo that im gonna need to replace or a gasket on the hpop cover? any other gaskets or things i need to get or do while im replacing the hpop and icp?

Maybe something like this would work:
Mine had been R&R'd by the dealer in 08, so it was easy to get to my band clamps.
