DER DA DER, I was talking about his last statement, the plug for water seperator, TGIF

Ahhhhh lol. Yeah I've got a Ford P/N for that thing now somewhere too. Last time my truck was in for warranty work, they replaced the fuel pump and the new one of course was missing my brass plug. Jerks. Already ordered another...

Well DER DA DER to you as well! This is what I was referring to:

"Fuel filter changes are something most diesel guys will experience on their trucks at some point or another. Anyways, here's some quick little tips to make the change a little easier on a 6.0 powerstroke, and a way to save some money!

EDIT* The new P/N for the filters from International is 1847170C94

If you go to Ford to order your filters you'll quickly learn they're over $100
"

And it wasn't you that said it bobfbigman.

I guess I should have quoted Mdub, I was showing him where you were talking about the plug, he thought I was talking about filters for $25 so that is why I gave him the DER DA DER:w2:

DER DA DER sounds pretty happy bob, I like the sound of it!

Fuel Filters and Drain PLug replacement

Hello! I'm new to the Forum, but am in need of help in a hurry.

You mention going to "International" for these parts. Can you tell me specifically who you go to...website? phone? I don't see anything on the International Truck Site.

Thanks for your really valuable and helpful info. I look forward to participating in this site.

Any IH dealer should be able to help you out. Who ever is local to you. I didn't have them in stock until I read up on this thread. Awesome info guys!!!!

Hi newbie to site and I just went to the international dealer here in town ordered this brass plug and it was here in two days. thanks again for this info. Next time I go to drain the water should be a whole bunch easier.

You can get the brass plug from either international, or you can actually get them at your local Ford dealer now too!

6E7Z-9C082-A It lists for ~$17, Tousley has it for $11. :c:

if your ih dealer gives you crap tell them you need the filters for a vt365 aka 6.0 powerstroke. Some parts guys are ignorant to the fact they are the same. If you have a good friend with a heavy truck shop they may sell to you at their cost I have my own shop and pay 25 bucks for these filters from my ih dealer. Told local ford dealer and they were pissed, but who cares!
