Second time I've seen you post this and it still makes no sense. Why would this be any more likely to blow headgaskets?

Your telling me you can get the heads off with the cab still on??

I've been told that:
1). remove motor
2). remove cab
3). one for one (remove bolt replace w/ stud)

I personally would'nt do #3 but i don't have a lift to remove the cab.. When i priced out having it done for me from a few shops they were in the 4500.00 range but that also included a egr delete..

So is there a way i can do this in my own shop and do it right??
Yessir, heads can come off no problem with the cab on. The bolt farthest in the back on the drivers side will interfere with the cab, there's about 5 different ways to deal with this. Some loosen one motor mount and roll motor to side to clear. Some loosen trans crossmember and motor mounts, jack up rear of trans to tip motor forward. You can also just take a pipe/sledge and dent the firewall in (probably the easiest, and you'll never see it cause it's behind some insulation), you can cut the bolt in half (scares me cause you're sending metal pieces all over the engine bay with an open engine valley), or pull the bolt half way, rubber band it in place, lift heads, repeat when it goes back in with the stud.

Yes, doing it in cab will be more time consuming, but by all means this CAN and HAS been done.

The one for one method you mentioned is a waste of time IMO.

The other two methods are options as well.

Now I understand Mdub. I thought you were referring to the "one for one" method. Hence why I said not pulling the cab was a bad idea...twice. Lol. I was unaware of the other methods for cab-on stud install. Learn somethin' new everyday. No hard feelings?
