There is on mine! It's in the top right corner of the gauge panel and has the the thermometer inside the gear icon next to it ... just above the coolant temp gauge.

Here's a pic:

Negative ... check your owner's manual. The coolant temperature is the gauge below this one.

Maybe my response wasn't too clear.

The gauge with the gear/thermometer is the trans temp; the gauge below that one is the coolant temp.

Anyway, that makes one gauge I don't have to buy ...

Hmmm... now you got me thinking. That doesn't seem right though... gonna investigate in my own manual then!

A couple things that throw red flags for me with that...

When I start my truck in the cold temps, that gauge is the first to warm up (which coolant would do) and the one below which I was under the impression is oil temp, warms up slower, which also makes sense. The gauge you guys are calling the factory "trans temp" does not coincide with warm up times with my stand-alone Dipricol Optix trans temp at all....

The "trans temp" you guys are referring to, that I thought was coolant, completely coincides with warm air starting to blow inside my cab too...

This gauge also warms up while truck is sitting in park in the driveway, while my standalone does not...

I've also had the factory gauge max out before and dash blinks and beeps and says "check gauges" and my trans temp gauge was still completely normal...

More investigation will ensue!!! Good info guys...

Yea that is what I could never figure out on our 03 it says trans temp and when I let it sit and idtal to warm up when it is cold the guage will rise up never understood how trans could warm up at idle

maybe im retarded and it is the oil temp gauge, i dont have a manual to check. it is slow at moving to temp but my edge insight eot reads normal operating temp faster then the gauge, even though i no factory gauges r notorious for poor accuracy.
