Talked to previous owner of my truck yesterday. Asked him about the sputtering and white smoke after you first take off after its been sitting all night or all day at work. He laughed and said that it has done that ever since he bought it 4 years ago. He said his new 6.0 king ranch dually does the same thing. Once its warm its fine. He also said he's never used any diesel addative and he changed every filter and oil every 5000 miles weather it was due or not. And he's never had any mods put on it.

I call bs on changing every filter at 5 k and that would lead me to not believe the existing sputtering statement ps Mine may stutter a little do to the cold strategy but never white smoke

WVO Diesel Conversion | SVO Grease Conversion | Ford Vegistroke Powerstroke | Biodiesel Conversion It's a waste vegetable oil (WVO) burning system. Basically a complete secondary heated fuel system for running oil. I have yet to meet a tech who even knows what it is or its function, even after having the truck for weeks on end and inspecting it. Best guess so far was "You're running biodiesel aren't ya?"... NO.

The last diesel tech I spoke with in person wanted to know about my buddies 05 and if it was chipped. Which was funny anyways since you can't chip a 6.0, then he proceeded to tell us his was "chipped to the max"... he was running an Edge. We stopped talking to him about that point right there...

My buddies 05 had this issue, went to dealer several times, never got it fixed. They admitted something was wrong, but never figured it out and told him to drive it that way.

You really gotta get that thing on a scanner and see if anything is coming up. There is definitely something wrong here...
