Why did you replace the IPR valve? No need to spend money on parts that aren't broke. Someone else just said this recently and it rings true with these 6.0's. Test, Verify, Repair!

Need some more info on the truck like how many miles, service intervals, oil used, last time fuel and oil filters were replaced.

Usually when they quit only running hot, it's a high pressure oil leak somewhere.

I change oil every 5k I use motorcraft 10-40w and change fuel filters every other oil change there is 120k on truck I replaced ipr because I was told by the local shop that once hot the valve was failing and droping oil pressure from injectors and the truck has no codes no cel light nothin

Failing FICM's can throw injector codes. Easy as pie to test with a buddy. 5 minutes worth and that includes drinking a frosty beer. At 120k it's hard to tell, could be injectors, but not a definite. When the truck is running, how is it? Still drive like normal? Did shop just hook up a diagnostic tool or actually do a compression test?

Just Diagnostic tool only, truck runs great smooth until a little miss then will die always starts right up after about 10sec of cranking then idles rough for a few seconds then smooths out
