with the truck saying that the alternator is intermittinley charging, can this cause the truck to cut out and missfire? and when it missis it blows out black smoke? or is something else wrong with it also? thanks!

when the volts and amps are low the electronic equipment acts up

on my truck the speedo needle use to rattle after key shut off when battery was low

i just changed the passenger battery and i picked the right one....

Ford oem was the cheapest 120.00 plus tax

Interstate was 150.00

 

You can have your batteries load tested, and they should both be replaced at the same time.
